I created this blog because . . .
I hope that I can somehow help others realize that following a particular religion is not necessary and sometimes not even desirable.
Religion is necessary for some people. They find comfort in knowing that all that difficult thinking has been done for them. They are not forced to deal with questions of authority nor autonomy.
However . . .
There is a way to live your life while accepting and exploring your spiritual side without employing religion.
Religion is really just a prescription for people who need help finding God.
God is there - always been there - neither male nor female - nor physically human - whether you want to acknowledge God or not. God knows that some people simply aren't ready for the concept of what God truly is . . . and that's OK - you have plenty of time to figure it out.
Don't misunderstand me. I am no saint. I am no super man. I am an ordinary human being just like the rest of us with my own set of foibles and weaknesses. I claim no superiority over others at all. It's just that I've had many, many experiences over the years with all kinds of exposure to different religions, belief systems and such. I've been a wanderer and a wonderer. What I've found, what I know, I believe can help someone, somehow in some small way, to grow and become more of who they really are.

PLEASE do leave a comment or two - even (especially) if you do not agree with me. One thing I learned by helping teach martial arts classes is that the teacher often learns more than the students while helping them to progress.
So here I am, an open-minded person who is ready, willing and able to help those who would like to know more, or even just consider that there might be another way to grow spiritually.
I will be covering some of the topics here that are covered in the course I've completed that you can have an idea of what is involved.
