Sometimes, when I look back over my life, I can’t believe where I’ve wound up today.
I have so much!
When I was a kid, my parents would put no presents under the tree before Christmas - none at all.
Then, on Christmas morning, when the few meager presents magically appeared, we knew that Santa had come and left us gifts! And we were very happy and excited!
Our parents would give us the best Christmas gifts they could. Just like every other family, of course.
I remember on several occasions receiving a pear wrapped in aluminum foil. Black walnuts (gathered from the roadside by my parents) wrapped in a box. My dad would carve wooden toys out of tree branches. And all of the gifts would be wrapped with comic pages that had been secretly collected from the 52 previous Sunday issues of the newspaper.
Somehow, someway, I knew that since Santa would arrive each year that it meant that my parents loved me. I know now that what I was feeling was the warmth of their love. It was their hearts connecting to our hearts that let us know that it was them providing the gifts. But it was fun to play along anyway and all of us together believed in Santa Claus.
My dad, to his last day on Earth insisted that Santa Claus is real.
But we knew better. In our objective reasoning we knew it was mom and dad.
And yet, in fact, Santa Claus does exist. Santa exists in the hearts of all who care enough about their loved ones and each other to do whatever it takes to show them how much they love them. Even if that Love is shown through the imagined persona of Santa Claus.

This year we are preparing to give some amazing gifts to our children. They are amazing because some of them can help enable the next natural evolutionary step of humans come to pass.
Virtual Reality (VR) goggles for phones can immerse us into the digital world like never before.
They will help us immerse ourselves into alternate realities, just like where we find ourselves now.
We are so immersed into this physical, biological world that we cannot even remember that we are all here to play a massive simulation game. We cannot remember that we each have chosen to project our consciousnesses here into this physical realm. The Game of Life. VR goggles will help begin the process of doing the same for the next level of consciousness projection.
Some of us awaken to the knowledge that we are projecting our consciousnesses into this world. Most do not.
It’s all part of the game. The game of who can Love and be Loved the most.
Today, Nancy, Sara and Owen were discussing ‘If they were a superhero, which superpower would they want to have?’. Some chose the ability to fly. Some shooting fire.
I thought to myself ‘If I were a superhero, I would want the ability to strike Love into the hearts of my enemies’.
Love conquers all, after all.
Or, as my dad was fond of saying, “Love is the most powerful force in the world!”
Damned straight, dad. Damned straight.
