How Can God Allow Suffering?

I heard one of the classic questions that people ask all the time when they are doubting in God or a Higher Power, etc. All of a sudden, I realized that I have a truth for myself that the preacher being asked did not know the answer to.

The leading character asked 'How can God allow this other person to suffer medically so much?'.

The answer is that human beings have freedom of choice in their lives. This is related to their biology.
God has granted us the use of these temporary biological vessels to live out our lives so that we may experience love and the entire rainbow of emotions that are largely driven by our love and our physical experience. These temporary biological vessels have their own set of rules for their operation.

Sometimes the rules say that we must endure a wide range of diseases and malformations. Sometimes the rules say that we must enjoy excellent health.

We can influence the outcomes for our biologies to a certain extent. Sometimes we cannot. In the end, it's our Love and our Faith in that Love that is all powerful.

Be very aware of the stories you tell. Our lives become the stories we tell.
